COWI IN SEARCH OF COMMUNICATIONS ADVISOR TO LEAD AMBITIOUS EMPLOYER BRANDING EFFORTS

Do you want to be part of an award-winning and ambitious communication team?

Information about position:

Position type: Permanent

Workplace: Oslo

Deadline: 15. February

About the employer:

COWI is an international engineering and architectural consultancy firm with leading positions within energy, infrastructure, buildings, water, and environment. We work across the globe with a stronghold in Scandinavia. Our approximately 6,800 colleagues work together with customers and partners to shape a sustainable and liveable world.

COWI is an international organisation that considers employer branding a vital part of the business strategy. You will work closely with our engaged and highly-skilled communication team in Norway – and international colleagues in the COWI Group. Do you master a broad range of communication disciplines? Do you want to make campaigns and content that is noticed and recognised by your peers? If so, read on – we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Be part of our creative and motivated team

The communication team in Norway has gained great recognition for their campaigns and employer branding efforts. A workday is characterised by co-operation and tasks related to internal communication, social media, press and leadership support – just to mention a few. That makes it a great place for you who have broad communication skills.

We are looking for a communication advisor to lead COWI’s ambitious employer branding efforts in Norway.

Key task will include:

  • planning and executing cross-channel employer branding and branding campaigns – mainly for the Norwegian business, but also supporting international campaigns

  • planning and executing events, such as career fairs, kick-offs and student office visits

  • planning and executing strategic employer branding measures in collaboration with HR and Recruitment

  • developing creative concepts, producing content and executing digital campaigns.

Together, we shape a sustainable and liveable world

At COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and liveable world within the guidance of our strategy “Future Now”. We do it by applying our knowledge and curiosity – and sometimes even our courage – to create the solutions the world needs today to enable a better tomorrow. That is why we say no to fossil-based projects and aspire to have 100 per cent of our revenue come from activities that support moving our customers towards sustainability.

We value differences and development and cultivate an environment of belonging and having fun. Because that is what brings out the best in you, at work and at home.

With offices primarily located in Scandinavia, the UK, North America and India, we are currently 6,900 people, who bring their expertise in engineering, architecture, energy and environment into play.

Be part of a global network of expertise

The Norwegian communication team is part of Group Communication in COWI, which includes around 50 skilled communication specialists across the globe. We are dedicated to supporting our business, building our brand, and attracting, engaging and retaining COWI's most important asset: our people. As the competition for engineers and specialists intensifies, having an attractive and distinct employer brand is key. For this reason, working with employer branding at COWI never ceases to be high-paced, challenging – and fun.

About you: a structured person with a creative mind

To succeed in this position, you are an experienced project manager who knows how to take a project from the first idea through strategic anchoring and planning to execution. You thrive on working independently and know how and when to involve the right people.

We are looking for an experienced generalist who prefers to work across disciplines and masters both the strategic and hands-on part of the job.

The right candidate will probably check most of the following boxes:
