Aluminium Metal (AM) Commercial is responsible for the global sale of Hydro’s casthouse products from both fully owned and partly owned facilities. In the transition towards a greener economy, Hydro takes leadership by providing low carbon aluminium products to the market. Aluminium Metal (AM) Commercial, Innovation and Strategic Projects is responsible for new product development projects and the partnership program.

We are now hiring a Marketing & Business Intelligence Manager. This is a senior role within the team responsible for translating strategy, innovation, and market data into new opportunities, hereby making use of the marketing and communication toolkit.

In this position you will work closely with Communication, Marketing, Public Affairs and Sales professionals.

Area of Responsibility

  • Develop AM’s strategic commercial positioning throughout media channels, events, partnerships
  • Initiate, develop and implement campaigns across digital channels and follow-up on campaign KPI’s and analysis
  • Plan and organize AM’s participation in major trade shows and exhibitions
  • Take CRM lead in AM, be the owner of CRM tools and monitor and lead development processes
  • Lead generation planning (tactical marketing activities) in line with the greener go-to-market strategy and the partnership framework. Responsible for the digitalization of this process.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Execute the greener-go-to-market strategy in close cooperation with sales in the product areas and the partnership framework

Desired qualifications

  • 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally in marketing or communication positions

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Reliable knowledge about commercial processes
  • Profound experiences in the field of digital marketing, communication, and event management
  • Experienced with executing go-to-market strategy
  • Capable of managing CRM systems for marketing purposes (Ideally SalesForce)
  • Fluent in English. Additional language skills are a plus.

To succeed you work precise, structured and you understand the interest of all stakeholders. You have excellent skills in messaging and communication, both oral and written. Furthermore, we believe you easily build relationships and are well experienced with cross-cultural environments.

Additional information

Worklocation will be Oslo or Rotterdam.
