Visma Software Nordic are looking for a Head of Communication & PR
Visma Software Nordic is building one of the most significant brand transformations in Nordic B2B software, and we are looking for a Head of Communication & PR to lead the communications strategy as a vital part of making it happen.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking and hands-on execution - and who knows how to cut through noise in a competitive market.
Location: Oslo. Regular business travels within the Nordics must be expected.
Reports to: Director of Brand, Positioning and Communication
About the Role
As Head of Communication & PR, you will own our external and internal communications agenda across the Nordic markets. You will be the primary architect of our Communication and PR strategy and a key voice in building awareness and credibility for the Visma Software Nordic brand - through earned media, proactive storytelling, and integrated communication.
You will be part of the leadership team for the Brand and Communications department, working closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing and the Head of Product Marketing on integrated plans and activities.
Responsibilities
Communications Strategy: Developing and implementing external and internal communications strategies across Nordic markets, with ownership of earned and owned media.
PR & Media Relations: Leading day-to-day media relations - both proactive and reactive. Planning and executing media activities nationally and internationally, including press releases, opinion pieces, and editorial content.
Spokesperson & Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a strategic communications partner and spokesperson for Visma Software Nordic. Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and other key external stakeholders.
Internal Communications: Driving internal communications and supporting employer branding in close collaboration with HR.
Crisis Communications: Leading communications in crisis and preparedness situations, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
KPI Tracking: Defining, monitoring, and continuously improving KPIs for PR and communication activities, using data to guide priorities and demonstrate impact.
What We're Looking For
Several years of experience & proven success from a similar in-house role, a media house, or a communications/PR agency
Higher education in communications, journalism, or a related field (minimum bachelor's level)
Strong editorial skills and a proven ability to identify, develop, and tell compelling stories
Excellent written and oral communication skills in at least one Scandinavian language and English
Confidence in the spokesperson role and a solid understanding of how the media landscape works
Experience using AI tools as part of your daily workflow
Strong business understanding, preferably in SaaS or other B2B software - and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
A proactive, hands-on attitude: you are equally comfortable setting strategy and writing a press release yourself
